Congratulations to Vickie and Mike Acord in California!
We are approaching 30 years of marriage
together, but since Calypso (aka Cisco an Heavens Gait Farm star) came into
our lives we were like newlyweds again. Horses change lives. For Christmas
we added a second Heavens Gait Farm star, Bonnie Blue (aka Bella) as a gift
for my husband. The way it felt together with him (and them) today, I think
the next 30 will be even better. Thanks to HGF (and Sara Kellogg) for
changing my life. ~Vickie Acord 12-26-11
Sometimes a horse comes
into your life and changes everything. Your life, your relationships, your
outlook...just everything. Horses that do that don't happen by "accident"
they are raised and trained by people who make a difference. Heaven's Gait
Farms does that. ~ Vickie Acord
News from Sara and Midnight in Vermont...
Just had to share a picture
of Midnight getting a treat after another fabulous ride. Just such safe, sane
horses you have Judy!
Hoping by sharing my experiences I can encourage
everyone who had fear issues from accidents to work with you. Your ability to
place the right horse is amazing as is the time you take to work to find just
the right match even buying a horse sight unseen. Never thought I'd be riding
again. Just wonderful to have these beautiful animals in my life.
Thanks! ~ Sara 08-26-11
Life is more fun from the
back of a trusted Heavens Gait Farm trail horse. Love my Midnight!
Sometimes I feel I post too many
photos but I just want people to see how your horses are so wonderful in real
life. Your horses have given riding back to me when I thought I'd NEVER find the
right horse. And imagine Midnight putting up with me fiddling looking for the
camera and then posing too! ~ Sara 09-12-11
Congratulations to Marsha Borders in Texas!
Buckle Up Miss Kitty
Hi Judy! Here's a pic of
Miss Kitty and I hitting the trail. She is such an awesome horse! THANKS!
You know I think Spring has actually come!
Have been able to get some serious riding in! Best thing about Miss Kitty is she
will go out by herserlf or with others and she is always consistently the same
(what a great attitude this horse has!)

Your horses are absolutely
the best! I have so much fun with Miss Kitty every weekend. Here's a picture of

Congratulation to Joker and Amanda Chamberlain!
My aunt Judy couldn't have
paired me with a better horse. I don't know who named him Joker, but it fits
him. He's my best friend and I couldn't have asked for a better
Christmas/Birthday present for many years to come. Thank you Judy and Heavens
Gait Farm for the best Joker in the world :) ~ Amanda 05-13-11

Tango's Golden Generator
12-21-2001:HI there, it's me, Michelle in Colorado. I really meant to write to you
earlier, but have been so busy (and enjoying every minute of it) with the sweet
filly I bought from you. I call her TAO, ( a relaxed way of chinese philosophy,
which values simply being in the moment, and enjoying it). I honestly couldn't
think of enough wonderful things to say about her, she's really my dream come
true. I only wish I could also get her liver chestnut full sister, that you
have available. Whoever gets that liver chestnut is going to be sooo lucky.
I'd be thrilled to always have only horses with the same bloodline as TAO, from
the same sire and dam--They are a truely magical combination.
Thanks so much for bringing to
life my very best friend, TAO. She's so beautiful and amazing to work with, I
really love her more every day! She's a real pleasure to be around, very gentle
and careful and sweet. I haven't had any kinds of problems with her. Even my
vet adores her. She loves attention, and has become very popular where I live.
People I've never met before make a point of coming by to visit her, all
praising her beauty and sweetness. She gets more treats from the neighborhood
people in one day than most horses would get in a year. At times, I've gone out
very early in the morning, 5:00-5:30...and been surprised to find people I don't
know just next to her, talking. She has a talent for bringing out the joyfull
kid all of us have inside. I know it sounds crazy, but it's so true. Buying
her from you is one of the best things I've ever done for myself. Not only is
she beautiful and kind, but the way you raised and trained her, shows in her
love of people. I've already gotten offers to buy her, but no one has enough
money to take her from me.
Thank you again for bringing her
out to me all the way to Colorado from North Carolina. I wasn't nearly as
worried about the trip, knowing she was with you, and knowing how well you'd
care for her. There were no health problems at all for her after the trip, she
came through like a real trouper. She settled in right away, and even though
everything was strange and new for her here, she always acts as if she's been
here all her life. That confidence is something she must have learned from you.
She's an angel, and she's my
angel. I love her dearly. She's happy and always interested in learning new
things. I know i'm going on and on, but she's an amazing dream come true for
me. Sort of like I special ordered her from heaven. Well, I guess I actually
did do just that---because she came from Heavens Gait Farm.
God Bless you, and thank
you so much. I'll send pictures soon. I would love to get some "baby" pictures
of her, as well as pictures of her sire and dam, and even of your farm. I'm
putting together her own photo album (i'm taking hundreds of pictures of her all
the time!!) and it would be great to make the album complete.
Thanks. Michelle --Colorado
Update: 04-02-2002: Judy, I'd be glad to be
a reference for anyone who's thinking of buying one of your horses, but wants to
talk to someone who already got one from you. If you want to give my number out,
It's fine with me...I have thousands of wonderful things to say about Tao, and
would love to share any info to help support your farm and horses. I'll be sure
to let people know that I look forward to getting another 1 or 2 horses from
you...because I think y'all have a real gift for breeding and raising them. I'm
your #1 fan. Thanks again for raising my angel Tao so well! Michele -- Colorado
Update: 10-26-2010:
Hello Noyes family, Years ago I bought a filly
you bred and named "Tangos Golden Generator", She is palomino with white mane
and tail and front right tall sock and back left tall sock....Remember her? She
was foaled in 2000. You both drove her all the way here to Colorado.
I just wanted to let you know that I still own
her, and she is doing well. My health declined after getting her (degenerative
spinal condition) and she was/has never been ridden. She has a very
unique personality and is unlike any other horse I have known. She seems to love
her life here with me and I can't seem to be without her. It's common for
strangers to knock on the door on a regular basis to ask if I'd be willing to
loan her out for their stallion to breed her. She is just so spectacular and
beautiful that she stops traffic. I've never heard of stallion owners actively
seeking out a mare, and this is from people who have quarter horses or t-breds,
or Morgans, and others. Everyone thinks she will pass on her magic to babies of
any breed.
I will try to find some pictures of her to
send to you. You will both be amazed and proud of breeding/creating her, she is
a gem.
Blessings,
Michelle -- Evergreen,Colorado

Moonbeam's Masterpiece
Hi Guys!
Hope everything is going well for you. We are doing great. We finally moved the
horses into our new barn. They are all doing very well. Moon is a wonderful
loving horse. He just wants to please and has become a great friend...in other
words, he is exactly what we wanted. We hope to buy another horse from you soon.
I have seen quite a few on your website I would like to have! Talk to you soon.
Steve & Tina
Congratulations to Jackie Walker!
Black Bart &
Jackie
Judy
and Larry,
We made it home safe and sound to Northern VA. Bart did great on the 4
hour trip. He is everything you said he would be!! When we got to the boarding
stable they had a 4-H clinic going on, with lots of activity, trucks moving,
strangers wandering around, noise, barking dogs.....you name it. Bart got off
the trailer just like nothing was going on and Jackie groomed him, walked him
down to the ring, the trainer jumped on him bare back just to see
his reaction and he took it all in stride!! Jackie is one happy kid.... We are
both playing hookie from school and work on Wednesday ;-) We will be in touch
with more stories and pictures.
Great to meet you and thank you for your time,
Joe, Esther & Jackie Walker
and then another nice letter...
Hi Judy and
Larry!
Jackie is still one happy girl! Bart has adjusted nicely to his new home.
Jackie had her first official lesson on Bart today and he was perfect, he never
made a mistake. There were trail obstacles in the ring and he went right over
them without a problem! Jackie is feeling very comfortable on
him, and that is a real accomplishment considering how reserved and timid Jackie
is. Bart seems to know her already. I've attached a picture of her smiling
face-and Bart seems happy too.
Please feel free to pass our name on as a reference. Your honesty was very
appreciated and you were right, the perfect horse did come along!
I didn't get any pictures of her riding today, but will continue to send them as
time goes on. Jackie is planning for the Back-to-Basics horse show at the end
of April. Jackie did change his name to Black Jack rather than
Bart-he doesn't seem to mind.
Joe, Esther & Jackie Walker
Congratulations to Sandy Karcher!
Senator's Silver Dollar
Hi Judy,
Just wanted to let you know that Senator is settling in very well with the
other horses. He doesn't take anything from the other horses! All he wants to do
is play. I told you everyone at the barn would love him. He justs loves people.
Wants to be out of the pasture instead of with the
horses. So everyone thinks I should nickname him Friendly! I might just do
that. I'm having a stall sign made for him and will have his full name on him. I
want everyone to know he is a walker. I rode him bareback yesterday
in the ring with just a halter and what a dream. It was so muddy at the barn
yesterday you just couldn't walk anywhere without sinking to the ankles. So I
just played with him in the ring. He is so curious about everything and so
loveable...I am just thrilled with him. And know Senator and I will have a
wonderful bond together. I just love that he is young because of the fact we can
learn things together. When it gets nicer at the barn will send you a picture of
Senator all tacked up. There is one man at the barn that just loves him. says he
should be a police horse. He even stayed the extra hour just to watch Senator in
the ring. So more to come..........
Thanks so much,
Sandy
ps- by the way, everyone has been asking about where he came from....so I hope
you don't mind me giving them your farms name.
Congratulations to Tiffaney Williamson!
Diamonds Are Impressive
Hi Judy and Larry,
I am enjoying Diamond so much!! I took him out to a friend of mines trails and
he did great!! He got all kinds of compliments. I can't believe I found a
horse that is only 3 years old and has such a good temperament. He was
definitely trained well. He is a great trail horse and I have so much fun with
him! We are going on an overnight camping trip in Cumberland and then heading
to the James River Trails the 22nd of March. At first I didn't think he and I
would be ready, but he is more than ready so I can't wait. We are going to have
a blast! Thanks so much for Diamond! He is exactly the kind of horse I was
looking for!
Thanks, Tiffaney
Congratulations to Char Cornett!
Pride's Painted Midnight
Judy,
So far we are doing great together...I will keep updated on him and send

other lots of kisses! Talk to you soon, Char
Thank you Char for the photo!!
Congratulations to Trish Labossiere!
Hello, It's Trish down here in good old Rhode Island. Just wanted to say
Thank You again for such a wonderful boy! He is Great. Everyone adores
him...he is all I ever wanted...It is a pleasure to finally meet nice
people who were honest! I have great pictures...email them soon!
And more recently...
Hello Judy
Bailey is great. I still cannont seem to email pictures of him for some
reason, but he is the best horse I ever owned. I would recommend anyone to
you. I am trying to convince my husband into buying land soon and then we
will be calling you for another great horse like Bailey! It is amazing
what people will try and sell you down here in New England, and then I
found wonderful people like yourselves. Again, Thank You for my
Dream Horse! Talk to you soon.
Sincerely, a Truly Satisfied Customer
Trish Labossiere
Congratulations to Carol Buck!
Evil's Mountain Gold (MG)
Hi Judy!
I have been wanting to write to you and see how "Sunny" is doing? I hope you
have been able to breed her? I am anxiously awaiting the news!!!! I can't
wait. I would love to hear from you about her. "M.G./Wyatt" is doing
fantastic. He is loved by all and is growing daily it seems. Over the
winter, I had his shoes pulled, it seems his feet were
growing a size each trim! So we are letting him grow! I am very happy with
him and think he will grow into a great horse. I just love his personality.
We've had quite a cold winter and haven't been able to ride him all that
much-too cold! He has adjusted to the herd and is finally moving up in
ranking (he's no longer on the bottom). We had a problem in October, we ran
into a nest of ground bees while out on
trail, Wyatt got bit pretty good and had welts all over the front end. So I
think we will have to work with biting flies this spring. In 8+ years of
riding these trails, I've never had ground bees and feel terrible it
happened to him. But, he behaved much better than some of the older horses
that were in our group! There are a couple of people at our barn that are
possibly interested in some of your horses. I told them about you and your
website and of course Wyatt. So they may be in touch with you soon. Hope all
is well with your
family. Please let me know about Sunny. Thank you.

Dakota Heavenly Masterpeice
Dear Judy,
I wanted to drop you an email telling you how Dakota is doing. He is
Wonderful!! He is getting very big. We are thinking that he will grow to
17+ hands. Poor little sweetie was getting so massive with bone structure
we had to change his feeding all around. He had no fat on him. He is
looking a feeling great. What a furry little fella. He is just as sweet as
he was when I first saw him. He is like a puppy. He is spoiled ROTTEN!!
Funny story, Jackie is the wonderful lady that I board Dakota with, her
husband Milton, is well lets say not the biggest horse lover out there. He
is the gentleman that helped me bring him home. Well, him not loving horses
is where this gets interesting. I catch him in Dakotas stall "loving up on
him" and his daughter Brandy has 4 horses of her own she jumps and shows.
Well, Guess who was the first horse to get his stall name on his door. You
guessed it ... my little man. Needless to say Brandy barked for a day or so
but couldn't resist spoiling him some more. He is so wonderful that when I
come to see him I just open his stall with both side barn doors fully open
and call him. he follows me and if I for one-second ignore him, he is not
far behind my back pushing me to remind me of who's there. He just looks at
the other horses, and never wonders off.
I later purchased a 15yr old Quarter/Arabian Gelding. He is fun to ride but
Dakota sure isn't going to have that once he is ready. He is so rotten that
when my daughters and I go out in the pasture to bring them in for
"spoiling" he looks up as to say "Where the H*ll have you been? Well, my
15yr old he makes me get about 5 minutes of exercising in first. Dakota
always look at him like he's a moron. Like you stupid horse, havent you
figured out yet that your going to get brushed and some treats? But back to
why he's so spoiled... Well, since my 15yr old is so big I wont allow my
younger girls to lead him yet. They tend to walk directly under his feet.
So I walk him.... Well, Dakota will take 3 steps and make my daughters yell
at me to come back and get him because he wont budge. So I have to tie
Bailey up, and go back and walk Directly on his side while she leads him.
Rotten fella but SMART!!! He has us wrapped. Thank you for putting him up
for sale, I think with his temperament and the trust he already has in us
and the Hutto family, putting a saddle on him and riding into the sunset are
going to be my release from reality. Trust me when I say this... Dakota
will NEVER be sold... even (God forbid) if the very worst thing happens.
When I die he will be in my will with this clause HE CAN NEVER BE SOLD!
Anyway!! Thank you for letting your horse breed the night she conceived my
little man. When I said he was my dream come true, I had no idea how right
I was!
A Very Happy Owner of Dakota Heavenly Masterpiece!!!
Erika Lock
The Best of luck in your future breeding and your future horse homes!
PS I will forward some pictures to you soon! He gets bigger every day, its
funny to remember not long ago I had to look down through his stall to see
him and now you cant miss him unless he is laying down.
