Horse Lover's
DAY CAMP
For Girls and Boys
(Ages 6 - 16)
Learn or Improve Riding Skills
No Experience Required
The purpose of this camp is to provide 6 – 16
year old girls and boys with an opportunity to learn more about riding and
caring for horses in a fun and educational atmosphere.
Students will rotate through different learning centers, horse
feeding, tacking (putting equipment on the horse), washing & grooming, and
identifying the parts of a horse, saddle, and bridle in addition to a daily
horseback riding lesson. Every camper's favorite activity seems to be horseback
riding! Side-walkers are available for each beginning student until they are
able to control their own horse. Our programs teach horse safety. Upon
completion, participants will not only have developed or improved their
riding skills, and increased their knowledge of horse care, but more
importantly, they will leave here with an amazing sense of accomplishment and
self-confidence!
